Pool Galop - Route de Beausoleil - 44390 Nort-sur-Erdre

Nort-sur-Erdre is located in the west of France, with an extensive network of motorways. Nantes Airport is only 30 minutes away.

The surrounding racetracks, Normandy and also the Paris racetracks are easily accessible.

When the "Société des Courses Hippiques de Nort-sur-Erdre" was founded in 1904,

the racecourse “Hippodrome de Beaumont” (category 2) was also called “Le Petit Chantilly”.

The training facility existe since 1922; it extends over an area of 24 hectares with two sand tracks and a grass track.

It is used daily by only 150 horses and offers an excellent environment,

to work our racehorses without any stress.

To ensure the perfect use of the working tracks,

two employees of the racing club work full-time on the facility.

We are developing

constantely ...

The Galop Pool was built in 2017. The functional stables are right next to the training center.

Today, the facility has a capacity of around one hundred boxes, which are divided into three stables and equipped with video surveillance. In each of the three stables, the corridors were completely secured with Katchouk mats and artificial turf, an individual walker was built, indoor and outdoor showers for the horses were set up and no fewer than 10 paddocks with shelters are available for the horses.

The paths to the training facility are secured with plastic rails and electrical entrance gates.

The size of the stables makes it possible to isolate certain horses if they need special attention.

The well-being of the racehorses is our priority.

The stables are light and airy, equipped with spacious boxes of 14 m². The horses can see each other and all have individual windows.

The stable also has a scale to control the weight of our horses and we record this for their further development.

Each barn area has its own hangar for hay and straw.

Ludovic Gadbin''s training facility now covers the entire

area of the Pool Galop.

The calm and rural environment as well as the pleasant working atmosphere are reflected in the well-being of our horses.

We were able to brave the difficulties of 2020 and after a two-month lockdown in French racing, we started

the season with almost 50 two-year-olds.

If you are a passionate horse owner who would like to increase the number of horses, please do not hesitate to contact us.

Our stable is constantly developing  and we have a box capacity of up to 140 horses.
